How do you make an easy surgical mask?

- Cotton fabric
- Sewing machine and supplies
- Cotton ribbon
- Handheld iron

Cut two 8-inch squares from fabric. Sew the top and bottom sides; turn them inside out to form the mask.

Iron three evenly-spaced 1-inch pleats, folding them in aproximately 3/4 inch.

Cut two pieces of ribbon, measuring 34 inches each. Sew each length of ribbon along each side of the mask to secure (this should measure 18 inches starting from the top).
